Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, said that the 33rd Jewellery Arabia Exhibition represents a prominent highlight in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s annual calendar of international events, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing position in the high-end exhibition sector regionally and globally.
She expressed her gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his patronage of the exhibition.
Minister Al Sairafi underscored that the continuous support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the development of the exhibitions and conferences sector is a key driver of economic growth and a central element of Bahrain’s Tourism Strategy 2022–2026.
She highlighted that the exhibition is among the region’s leading specialised events, offering a rich experience combining creativity and luxury.
Minister Al Sairafi noted the steady annual growth in participation, exhibition space, and visitor numbers, reflecting exhibitors’ and investors’ confidence in the Kingdom’s competitive environment and its capabilities to host international events of such scale and distinction.
The Minister noted that the 33rd edition features 659 exhibitors from 29 countries in the Arab Jewelry Exhibition, alongside 51 exhibitors from six countries in the Arab Perfumes Exhibition.
She added that Bahrain’s advanced infrastructure, particularly the Exhibition World Bahrain, enhances the Kingdom’s ability to host major exhibitions to the highest global standards.
This, the Minister added, contributes to stimulating the local economy by attracting visitors and participants from around the world, generating active movement across the hospitality, retail, transport, and logistics sectors, while emphasising the importance of sectoral integration in achieving shared objectives.
