Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, President of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), emphasised that Bahraini women have been an inspiring model over the decades, contributing significantly to the kingdom’s national development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He noted that Bahraini Women’s Day serves as a moment to recognise women’s continuous contributions and achievements, commending the Supreme Council for Women, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, for its efforts in advancing women’s participation across all sectors.
EWA President highlighted women’s role within the Authority, spanning leadership, technical, operational, administrative, and technological fields, enhancing project development and service quality.
He underscored the Authority’s commitment to fostering a supportive work environment that ensures equal opportunities, empowers women to advance professionally, and occupy leadership positions, reinforcing their role as key contributors to Bahrain’s electricity and water sector.
